Courses
Law enforcement and civilian firearms training
Defensive Pistol Phase I
P1 is a beginners course in handgun familiarization and defense. In this course we will discuss the basics of carrying a firearm, the pros and cons of carrying a firearm in public, basic shooting techniques, firearm safety rules, and the laws and responsibilities surrounding carrying a firearm. This course is perfect for the brand new shooter who has never handled a handgun before, while also tailoring to the moderate shooter wanting to review their knowledge and skills in today's ever changing society. This course will also be modified and offered as a women's only class.
Equipment needed: Semi-auto handgun .380 or higher caliber, two (2) magazines, belt attached holster (hip or appendix), 250-300 rounds of ammo, eye protection, ear protection, note taking ability, and water.
(Any student presenting a safety risk to instructors or other students will be removed from training until that student has the knowledge and ability to safely handle a weapon in a class setting.)
Defensive Pistol Phase II
P2 is designed for graduates of P1 and those who have a moderate knowledge and skill set with a defensive handgun. In P2 we will step into the more advanced stages of carrying a weapon for self defense. Ranging from different defensive pistol types to different carrying options. The student will also experience what happens to the human mind and body when stress is introduced.
Equipment needed: Semi-auto handgun .380 or higher caliber, two (2) magazines, belt attached holster (hip or appendix), 300-350 rounds of ammo, eye protection, ear protection, note taking ability, and water.

Defensive Rifle I
DR1 is designed for basic to moderate shooters wanting to learn how to shoot an AR/M4 type of defensive rifle. The student will learn how an AR/M4 weapon system works, how to safely handle the weapon system, how to accurately fire the weapon system, how to clean and maintain the weapon, and so much more.
Equipment needed: AR/M4 style rifle (5.56 cal or greater), two (2) 30 round magazines, iron sights or optic on rifle, rifle sling (2 point recommended, 350-400 rounds of ammo, eye protection, ear protection, note taking ability, and water.

Defensive Rifle II
DR2 is designed for the average shooter wanting to take a step towards more advanced shooting techniques. In this course, the shooter will learn how to quickly and effectively operate the weapon system, shooting in advanced positions, shooting while moving, as well as other barricade type shooting and scenarios.
Equipment needed: AR/M4 style rifle (5.56 cal or greater), two (2) 30 round magazines, semi-auto pistol, two (2) pistol magazines, belt attached holster for pistol, iron sights or optic on rifle, rifle sling (2 point recommended), 350-400 rounds of ammo for rifle, 50 rounds of ammo for pistol, eye protection, ear protection, knee pads, note taking ability, and water.

Precision Hunter
PH is designed for the beginner hunter to the average hunter wanting to sharpen their abilities with a scoped rifle. In this course we will discuss cartridge selection, rifle and scope selection, the basics to precision shooting, wind effect on bullets at extended ranges, practical hunting scenarios/long range engagements, and more.
Equipment needed: Bolt action or AR/M4 style rifle (.223/5.56 cal or greater), optic on rifle, rifle sling (2 point recommended), bipod/tripod, shooting mat (optional), 200 rounds of ammo (match grade), 40 rounds intended hunting rounds, eye protection, ear protection, note taking ability, and water.
The forty (40) rounds of hunting ammo should be the exact round and grain weight the student intends on using in a real life hunting situation.
